Due to the large manufacturing tolerances with modern cars, there can be a lot movement between the subframes and chassis of the car. Therefore, by reducing or limiting such movements will drastically enhance the stability and directness of the chassis and steering.

The performance collar system was designed to offer owners to retrofit such enhancements to the subframe mounting to eliminate any unnecessary movement of that may occur while driving. Rather than an modification, the concept is to return the car to the correct tolerances,  to enable the moving parts such as the suspension do the correct work.

On front wheel drive cars the front tires have a lot of work to do, they provide the power, steering and braking, by regulating this slight deviation and movement, it brings a surprising change to the driving feel.
